Scope of Services

Originally built in the early 1960's, this reinforced concrete apartment building needed extensive concrete and caulking repairs. The pool deck was also in need of repair. ALEXANDER & ASSOCIATES, LTD. was called upon to evaluate the condition of the exterior walls and the pool deck, prepare the necessary repair documents and provide construction administration during the course of the work. Services included preliminary evaluation of the exterior wall concrete and sealant along with the pool deck concrete. This was followed by the preparation of repair drawings and specifications. Services also included bid solicitation, evaluation of bids received and a recommendation for contract award. Both the exterior wall repair project and the pool deck project were extensively monitored during the course of the work to ascertain compliance with contract documents and payout values. The pool deck project included the application of a Sundeck color coating upon completion of the repairs.
