Scope of Services

The Clinton Complex is a group of eight (8) inter-connected masonry loft buildings in the West Loop functioning as a single association.  Alexander & Associates, Ltd. was initially hired in 2007 by the Association to perform the masonry repairs noted on their 2006 City of Chicago Critical Inspection.  The masonry work was concentrated on the T-6 Buiding, but spread to various locations throughout the complex due to additional water infiltration.  Since the work has been completed, the water leak complaints have diminished.

In 2008, Alexander & Associated, Ltd. was engaged to replace the exterior on-grade parking membrane  on the deck between the buildings.  Several leaks had been reported in the parking garage below the deck.  The new membrane was completed in only three (3) weeks to maintain parking usage and has stopped the leakage completely.  Currently a balcony and canopy painting project is underway.  The project was phased over three (3) years for budgeting purposes.  It is scheduled to start in 2008 and finish in 2010.  An interior signage replacement project is also scheduled for this year.
