Scope of Services

In 1999, ALEXANDER & ASSOCIATES, LTD. was engaged to inspect the condition of exterior walls, certain site electrical components and the roofs of these 75 year old converted warehouse structures.  Previous masonry repairs had failed to halt the persistent water infiltration issues that the condominium was facing.   Work to repair much of the deteriorated brick, replace failed lintels and sills and recaulk much of the complex began in 2003.  Repairs were comprised of extensive roof recovering including new counterflashing, skylight refurbishment and miscellaneous caulking and parapet wall restoration.   Extensive underground site electrical repairs were also undertaken to resolve the ongoing problem of “shorting-out” during rainstorms.  New light fixtures were also added throughout the complex, both interior and exterior.
