Scope of Services
Services included complete architectural and engineering consulting for the redevelopment of 1.5 miles of an aging fifties style main arterial strip shopping street. Working in conjunction with the Village planning staff, initial services began with the identification of the most aged properties, followed by the preparation of a new sign ordinance specifically tailored to the needs of the project area. Each individual property underwent preliminary design, cost estimating and construction documents as a separate project. Individual property owners hired their own contractors working in conjunction with ALEXANDER & ASSOCIATES, LTD. as overall construction administrator. ALEXANDER & ASSOCIATES, LTD. selected all exterior building materials and colors.
